Hi Everyone!

I want to switch to a new DAW. I´ve been a long time Ableton user, but now i want to give Studio One a shot.
Iam using both Piratet Studio One 3 Professional v3.0.0.33329 and 32 Live 1.0.6 on OS X 10.9.5.
when iam start any plug in using 32 lives, Studio One Crashes. Even when i just use 32 Lives in an other DAW and open studio one simultaneously.
Has anyone had the same Problem? Or any solution for this?
I think SO 3 could be a very nice DAW to work with but without bridging 32bit Plugs... Ya know

no adapter is reliable, my advice is to switch to 64bit once and for all

You are right on one side, but on the other there are plugs like Sylenth without an 64 version. Dont wanna miss those.
And in Ableton there is no problem with 32 lives.
Its not that it just isnt reliable in SO 3, it crashes direktly when using 32 Lives.
32 L is genrally supportet by SO3 so there should be a way.
Maybe i did something wrong.

 

There sure is a version of Sylenth in 64-bit.

 

Try to disable service that you don't use like rewire, presonus remote etc.

 

Sadly not on the Mac side of things.
Lennar Digital offers a bundle for mac on their webside wich includes 32lives.

 

I´ve tried that with no luck. disabled some more or less unnecessary things but nothing

 

What's kind of version of 32 Lives are you running?? I used 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 with Logic Pro X without any trouble. You should try to reinstall it and try out other versions even older one. Installed the Ezkeys 1.0.2 and S1 3 started to crash every 2 minutes, downgraded to my previous version(1.0.1) and everything works fine again. Good Luck.

 

Im running 32L 1.0.6. i have used it a long time in ableton and Logic without any problem. I thought also about an downgrade. will try this. But i dont really belive that this will fix it. Thank you!

 

Okay, just did what Mostwest sayd and tryed 32lives 1.0.5 and its all good.
