Hi

i have a problem with the v3, the DRAG & DROP is not working and that is very annoying.

I can't drag & drop .mid files or any other supported audio files from windows inside the project application. I know it might be an admin rights privilege issue; i have checked everything and enabled studione.exe with all admin privileges accesses, i'm logged as admin and run S1 in administrator mode as well; i don't have antivirus and disabled ms security essentials.

it still the same: NO DRAG & DROP!

i have BOTH versions installed S1 v2.6.5 and S1 v3 both x64 on win7 x64, for some reason the drag & drop DOES WORK on the v2.6.5 but not on the v3 !, i really don't understand what has fucked up in v3 ??

Works for me S1v3 64bit on Win7 both from Windows Explorer and S1 Browser

 

same here no probs, both v2.6 and v3.0 installed, try reinstalling with admin rights

 

Works for me too, for MIDI and sample files. Win7 x64 (single account with admin rights), SO3 x64.

 

well i have this issue with cubase ! when i run cubase i run cubase as administrator , i cant drag n drop files inside , when im not running it as an administrator i can drag n drop files inside , try it......

Exactly that's the problem. Because you ran it as admnistrator.
Latest Windows does that type of problems with any program which is ran as administrator ..

 

Yup. If I recall correctly, it's because the explorer.exe process does not run as an Admin and that, of course, is where everything is dragged from. If you want to leave "Run as Administrator" on, you can drag and drop from the browser within Studio One (not sure if it works if you try to drag something into another plugin, I haven't tried that) or you can import the file using import file.

 

hmm.. ok it works now, i have reinstalled it 'as administrator' !
