I am a user of Logic Pro X, the stock pitch shifting plugins are decent but i am looking for something more control and morphing ability. I'm looking for recommendations and suggestions to something new, or a certain technique i can use that i am not doing now (i.e. placement in channel strip, certain pitches that you should hit when using certain voices). I'm also open to literature, forum posts, or youtube/written how to's with respect to pitch shifting.

I didn't exactly find a VST or plugin section, so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Zplane elastique (but may have issues). There's also Quikquak pitchwheel.

Antares autotune & other vocal plugs have stuff if you're shifting vocals.

Do you want to do pitch manipulation or pitch correction?

Zplane elastique works well in LPX with the usual trick... I play a "mono" instrument and so I tried a lot of plugs... don't expect miracles in real time pitch shifting. However LPX p. s. is very good in my opinion

Yes, I know. Melodyne is the best correction software. And nothing beats good singing. There is really nothing more to say.
