I would to know where I can get/make this Kick? Like really heavy but punchy at the same time

its an 808 kick.

 

Sample it? :P

 

-Take a clean kick you like, Parallel compress it for more body (better with multiband compression)

-Duplicate it, reduce the body with SPL Transient Designer. to get just the main attack

-Adjust both layers to taste, and bounce the new kick


you could also run a gate on the SPL copy just to remove the body and tail informations

 

Rawcutz SP12 pack (or any sample pack that has decent kicks...there are thousands of kicks out there). Take an acoustic kick and cut with a highpass filter with some resonance (to cut lows and bring out some 100Hz). Cut out some highs with a steep lowpass filter (around 2kHz). Adjust amp AHDSR to taste (it's pretty damn short).

Boost narrow at 500Hz if needed (for "boxiness"). Usually you want to cut this if a mix is dense, but if it is sparse like the track you posted, it works.

 

The Kick has a very Sharp attack sounds alot like the results that you get from shack audio transient shaper

 

No need to make one there are literally thousands of samples you can download or purchase. Gold baby 808 is a great sample pack that has this style kick drum. Its a very simple 808 kick drum. He didn't ask for mixing advice you guys sound ridiculous with your "boost here, cut there, use xyz transient shaper". Since when is that how you construct a kick drum? Keep it simple.

If you can avoid wasting time, the better.
There's enough to be wasted on other critical parts of the job.

Ur a bit of alright Baxter.. very helpful always but i have to agree with 'bro' on this one.. especially for OP's "where can I have this kick"... There are more kick drum samples on earth than ants..

Context is so important in life and I love its intricacies and subtleties :dancing:

 

i think both approces are fine. Some people prefer been able to process things to get what they want and some people prefer look into thousands of sample packs.

I have some kick that sound like the same but not THAT punchy so I think I'll have to go into that "tweaking/mixing" thing
