Someone know how to make distortion bass for tuned kicks?
I know mix pretty good and I want to make my own kick by myself but I got stuck with the distortion part..
I try with sylenth1
so here is my try;

I belived that many people on the forum want to know how to make their own kicks like Ummet ozcan,W&W...
So I hope that this topic will help them...

 

try to run it thru Sonnox Oxford Dynamics, Open the "warmth" section give a bit of amount 20-40%, reduce a little bit the "max trim" to give a more natural and phat bass sound.

This trick is useful for every bass which sounds too flat or too digital

 

i split frequencies with a multiband and add sausage fatener

 

Thank you but I think that I have problem in the synth and I need to get the right settings on sylenth1 and after the synth will hear similar I will add some distortion ,and compressor plugin...
So if you can analyze the original and to write which oscillator are needed and how to set the adsr it's will help a lot this bass is the basic for all the tuned kicks
so if I will got it,I believe that with hard work I will make my own tuned kicks....

i think the only things i understood from those articles was bass drum and snare drum....

I don't understand anything he used analog gear and talk about many Concepts....
I don't need to make my kick by the way he make them..
I can easily to sample the punch part from vengeance or from any bigroom tracks..
My problem is the bass part...
Did you know how to make this distortion bass I'm really got stuck..
I try to make it from the morning and not succeed to analyze how to make this bass...

Like with almost everything bass related (kick, bass, tom...), you need to SPLIT your signal.

There are several ways :
-layering (one kick disto, one clean)
-dry/wet disto (same kick)
-multiband disto (disto your highs MORE than lows, because humans hear disto more in the mids/highs)

There are probably other ways

Yes, multi-band and parallel processing. Like EQ -> multiband distortion (with dry/wet) -> EQ.
Process your bass, not your kick. Layer your kick with your bass. Adjust bass amplitude ADSR (pre or post distortion) and check/correct phase if needed (usually it does) between your bass and your kick.

 

I would suggest to try to make a distorted kick for a tuned bass instead.
don't forget harmony and melody if making music is your goal.

 

I used multiband this is only this mid bass I solo the mid frequency with Izotope Imager .
But in the sylenth1 I not find which oscillator are play together with the saw one...
And how to set the pitch like the original bass because now my bass sound like melbourne bounce bass... not like distortion part of the kick..
Maybe it's is the adsr I am really got stuck so can you see my settings and give me some tips it's will help a lot!!!

It's not so much complicated synth I'm just need to see it one time and I will got the idea...
