MaK is a Kontakt instrument which replicates the sounds of a person using various computer keyboards, mice, or
touchscreen devices. This allows you to very quickly perform the foley of using one of these devices via midi.

MaK was created to speed up the time consuming process of editing and/or recording mice and keyboards. After
realizing how often this came up in both my commercial and film work, I decided there had to be a better way.

Several recording sessions and Kontakt script headaches later, MaK was born!

There are 15 devices available in MaK: 5 Keyboards, 5 Mice, 2 Touchscreens, and 3 digital keyboards. Each of
these devices has been meticulously recorded at a number of different velocities for a very realistic playback
    performance.

The majority of the devices have 5 velocity layers; from soft to hard. Each of these velocity layers have 32
different samples: 16 for the press sound, and 16 for the release sounds of each device. That’s 160 samples
per device! MaK will randomly trigger press and release samples for each layer based on the velocity you play
the notes. Easy to use controls allow you to adjust additional layers of randomness in both velocity and pitch.
All of this adds up to realistic devices, and convincing performance.

Maybe useful for some postprod movie, but personnally i prefer to record it myself, keyboard and mouse's record, everybody can record it.

I think it could have been more original if the program shows keyboard (key press) and mouse movements visually when playing the library.

And why didn't any company do something like that until now? (I mean drum sticks)

I think visuality is so important too for realism.

It can even be added some human characters to the programs (guitar, drums, vocals etc.) like that. (Of course i know there are similar programs but i think that's not enough...)

MIDI keyboard producers can make programs that we will see and play our physical keyboard virtually on screen.

I don't think these are very difficult :)

Hey, I made this! Thanks for sharing it, Dingus!

As far as animations go... I actually originally planned to animate the devices, but scrapped the idea when I realized how much more time would have to be spent on it. Creating the all of the graphics and scripting for all of the device images would take a significant amount of time and resources. Not saying I'd never do it, but for what I was trying to achieve with this, it just wasn't a top priority.

Really great to hear people talk about it. I'll definitely consider more animation for my next instrument!

Also, this forum has the best emoticons. :break:

Thanks for your attention and i think "keyboard keys" can be customized according to "MIDI keyboard keys", i mean assign keys according to our choice.

    But although interesting job :)

I'm also interested in unusual libraries like "Embertone Arcane"
