I have the Reflexion Filter Pro, and I can totally vouch for it. If i didn't have it, would buy this immediately if in uk. Is AMAZING for tracking in substandard environments....

 

I have noticed that once in a while sE Electronics have special sales promotions for selected dealers, but they are not widely publicised so you discover them mostly by chance. I guess it is their strategy to satisfy the price sensitive segment of the market, while still maintaining a higher general price.

 

I think the new one (Space) addresses that problem.

 

No kidding! The mic stand problem is considerable, sandbags may be required!! I switched mic stands to an old heavy as hell boom stand that I would use to kill walkers in the walking dead....... always worried some idiot is going to knock it over and destroy my mic, and adjusting on the fly with different angles etc on the OG is a complete pain in the ass, i mean those levers or whatever "conflict"? against each other when turning etc.... but I can't argue with the results. It works great for vocals and acoustic instruments in my barely treated room. I literally keep my windows open, and have people mowing lawns etc down the street, this thing, ... it has solved so many problems... I'm jealous, cause I would want to get the space.
I also have a whisper room, but I haven't even assembled it since I moved because this thing works so well....

 

Buying some gym weights from the sports store and putting them on the mic stand helps. Had this problem as well. Counterweighting the stand is also a good idea.
