"In the past months, we have received great amount of requests asking if we could create a useful tool that would contain
all 45 P&M V.I.P. Plug-ins making these more convenient to use within any Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).

So we did it and much more...

Today we are proud to announce that we have launched a great new product that all of you V.I.P. Plugin owners will love.
We called it, the P&M “Chainer”. It can load and chain P&M plug-ins but it can also…… load VST effects and VSTi instruments
into any DAW including Pro Tools?

As the name implies, the Chainer is first of all a FREE utility that all of you P&M plugin owners can use to load your
P&M plug-ins and “Chain” them to create useful effect patches and load them into new sessions or even other DAWs.

But If you purchase the FULL version, the Chainer will be able to load and “Chain” any VST effects or VSTi instruments making
it a powerful tool to use within any modern DAW including Pro Tools.

Users can therefore use the Chainer to save great effect presets or VSTi virtual instrument patches that can be recalled from
any DAW at anytime needed.

For example, let’s say you are a guitarist and want to save typical effect patches. The Chainer enables you to load up to
32 effects in series or parallel. So you may want to load and save a compressor, an EQ, an Amp sim, a delay, a reverb,
a chorus, etc, and save the whole thing within a patch that can be loaded in other sessions or even other DAWs. The same
concept can be applied to vocal patches, drum patches, or any other typical effect chains that you want to recall in future
sessions. A time saver.



The same applies to virtual instruments that can be loaded and chained one after the other. Effect plugins can be loaded
into any slots adding amazing effects to your sounds or instruments.

Drag and Drop functionalities enables users to conveniently change the order of the effects and/or virtual instruments they
load within the Chainer. A mixer section enables users to solo, mute and control the level, Mix and Pan of each effects or
instruments loaded in the chainer. The chainer also provides useful Spectrum and 1/3 Oct analysers, Phase and audio Waveform
visualization to control the audio signal processes within the Chainer.

The chainer natively contains all of the 45 P&M V.I.P. Series plug-ins making it easy to save/load chained presets of your
favorite P&M Plug-ins. The Chainer is FREE for all REGISTERED P&M Plug-in owners. Therefore, the Chainer will automatically
detect any authorized P&M plug-ins, ready to use. They can be chained in series or parallel to save/load presets that can be
used in other sessions or even other DAWs"

Demo Versions:
Download the Chainer Application. Choose your preferred platform (Mac/PC) and the format of your choice (AAX - AU - VST).
Once downloaded, launch the installer. Once installed, the chainer will be available to load as a plugin from your
preferred DAW. If you have authorized P&M Plug-ins on your computer, these will be natively available within the Chainer.

To fully use VST effects or VSTi instruments within the Chainer, you'll need to authorised it as described in the email
confirmation you'll receive after purchase.

Chainer Demo limitations are:
If not authorized, the Chainer can load VST FX or instruments but the sound will be muted for a short time every 45 seconds.
Presets and automations are saved and can be recalled.

Interesting, but I'll stay with BlueCat Patchwork. It can also host au plugins and has everything I need and more.

Just tried it & it pretty ok really. Considering the price u can get the well cheap VIP bundle on deals & with this I guess u can create some pretty cool chains.

Funny how they make u pay to host other FX

Still all that said pretty good price really with the bundle & that i guess.

"When we decided to launch the project of a Chainer, we got in touch with quite a few developers we know to see if they were interested in the project.

They submitted their proposals and we decided to work with Nomad Factory, as their project looked the most interesting and the most likely to be deliverable
in the six month development period time we had outlined as a criteria.

It actually took seven months to complete the specifications we had asked for, and it involved a total rewrite of the code that had been used for Magma.

It actually says 'powered by Nomad Factory' in the GUI, as both Nomad and Plug and Mix are proud of what we were able to do together and we are now BFF's.

Try it out and decide for yourself, but we are very happy with the outcome."

I bought Nomad Factory Magma a couple of years ago, mostly to host VST's in Pro Tools. The effects were useful, but when hosting VST's, It crashed constantly. I'll stick with Patchwork, which has been rock solid.

 

Patchwork has no panning option for inserted instruments. So if you insert 2 synth to layer them you can't simply pan one to the left and the other to the right in patchworks.
Blue Cat Audio realy missed out on this option!

So I'll try this baby out. It surely looks better than patchworks! *yes*
