Any reason you need the latest, have you found any bugs in the one you are currently using? Anyway to answer your question, i assume it wouldnt be to far off if the latest has been released for mac.

you know that you dont need any other plugins. These are not so different plugs than other what we already have from waves. You can achieve the same results with other plugins. They'll bring allways new plugins from yet so famous producers with so many fancy skins/GUIs etc. Its just marketing in my opinion.

I'm rather interested in the last release of bitwig and ableton live.

It's available for Windows. You can purchase the Butch Vig plugin separately or you can get it with the purchase of the Mercury bundle.
The EMI TG12345 Channel Strip is available separately for Windows also. Or you can get it with the Abbey Road Collection.

Funny.. Well actually the majority of my software is all legit. From My daws ( Cubase, Pro tools, reason and logic) to about 90% of my plugins.. Next decent check i get ill eventually buy the mercury bundly, its on the next list. I have been ticking them all off over the years.

  8. I'm with you mate... Waves is done, all the usefull stuff has been released.. Now its all about marketing...
Take the Butch Vig vocals, for example, nothin' more than a simple equalizer/comp. with a couple of distortion options...
Nothin' that people can achieve with other (non) waves stuff

What did you expect? Is not some independent dev that listen to userbase (and it won't happen anyway even with the most open to user request dev), is waves,
that means mostly years old dsp, shiny GUI and marketing. (ok not all, but most good plugs from them are the very old ones IMHO).
Is like e-mailing MacDonalds and expecting them to launch on the market a new burger with ananas & chili just cause you like it.
