If I had installed trilian software, then after should I install the newest update, or should I install every update like 1.3.2, 1.3.3, 1.4.0 etc?

 

This is what worked for me:
Install the soundsource update 1.01 then the patch Library update 1.03 then the Patch library 1.40 then the software update it should be 1.4.1
Some updates need to be googled

 

yeah, it is an admitted pain in the ass... I know Catalyst when through this with Omnisphere lately..... little confusing, and a definite headache.... best of luck!

the last software update is 1.43

 

after installing the dvd's you can just install the latest updates

I had installed the trilian, but when I want to install the soundsource 101, the the installation faild.
I had installed on my second partition, not on which is the system(yosemite). Maybe this is the problem? The installation should be on the system partition?

 

Not sure what os you are on (oh, duh, you said it in your post, sorry), I know the libraries work fine on an external drive, but you might want to wait until end of install and use symlinks rather then alias's for the STEAM folder.... But I have had my STEAM library on an external drive for years, and have performed updates successfully, and recently..I believe you want to run the sound source updater pointing to your system drive, as that's where the resources etc are for Trillian, but it is smart enough to know that it is linked to where you have the actual sound data(STEAM folder) etc....

 

When I try to install soundsource, then I choose the partition, where had I installed the trilian, also, on the partition, where is the OSX, there is no files from the trilian install...my DAW doesnt recognize it...should I copy these vst and components files in OSX?
Or I had something wrong did? There was no choice, that the audio files install in another partition, just one choice...Maybe it won't faild the install, if I try to install on main partition, but in description is wrote, that the soundsource must be install on partition, on which is installed the trilian.

 

I had a few failures too, with both Trilian and Omnisphere. I realized that you don't have to use the installer - you can just open the STEAM folder in the installer folder and take note of its own subfolder structure. It's pretty obvious where you need to put each item within the STEAM folder on your hard drive. With patch and sound source updates it's pretty simple, but there's no way to do it quickly and comprehensively with anything that involves updating the documentation - it's all individual HTML docs and has a byzantine folder structure, you'll be copying for hours. But what the hell, who needs the docs - just watch the tutorial videos.

Should I copy the 35GB into "users/username" library? I had try, but then the other STEAM will replaced with 35GB STEAM...
The logic pro x also, won't recognize trilian.

 

Hey, I have copied the STEAM folder, now the LPX recognize it. But I can't register it, when I put the serial number, then always come back the registration screen. When I replace the VST and component files in plugins folder, then the LPX won't recognize the trilian.
Can you help me?
