Shift is a diatonic granular pitch shifting delay. Shift combines an intuitive and beautiful user interface, with a great
sounding granular synthesis engine. Shift’s flexibility allows a palette of timbres ranging from basic echo effects,
through intelligent harmonies, to exotic evolving ambient soundscapes.

Granular Delay Voices
Shift has five independent true stereo delay lines, with discrete delay, feedback, pitch shifting, filters, pan, and volume.
Pitch shifting comes courtesy of a powerful granular synthesis engine: with a few simple grain parameters, you can create
the perfect granular sound, be it for guitar, synth, drums, loops, or anything else.

Diatonic Tracking
A fast and accurate monophonic audio analysis component extracts pitch information, in real-time, for intelligent in-scale
pitch shifting and harmonies. Calibrate the tracker to your sound and style using the built-in tuner.

XY Grid Control
Perfect your preset design: use the XY grid to maneuver the seven main delay line parameters in real-time or to get at-a-glance
feedback on the overall preset shape.

Extensive Modulation
A comprehensive modulation matrix allows each delay voice parameter to be individual contoured. Modulation sources come in
the form of four tempo-syncable LFOs, each producing five modulation shapes: sawtooth, sinus, triangle, square, or stepped
random noise.

Scaleable Interface
Shift's beautiful interface can be resized to ensure crispness and clarity at any screen resolution.

Presets
Shift comes with a collection of over 100 presets, from the simple to the exotic, each tagged ready for searching, and
nnotated with playing suggestions. Listen to a preset in context with 'hot-swap previewing'. Create partial presets to
build up a library of delay voices, grain engine, and diatonic tracker settings.

Changes in Shift v2.3.1:

- AAX 64-bit Native plug-ins for Windows and Mac OS X.

- New modern flat-style UI.

- UI can now be dynamically rescaled.

- Keyboard entry of rotary parameter values. Rotary controls can now be typed directly into by clicking on the text value
below the control.

- Improved performance on real-time and very low-latency systems.

- The 32-bit and 64-bit VST plug-ins are now installed as separate components. You can choose which one (s) to install,
as well as selecting different install folders for each architecture.

- Linux: Added “Show Directory” to the preset browser, which will will reveal the selected preset directory in your window
manager.

- Mac OS X: Installer and all installed components are now signed in compliance with Mac OS X’s Gatekeeper system.

- Significantly improved UI response speed; reduced CPU usage when parameters are automated whilst the UI is open.

- Linux: Presets and configuration files are now located to comply with the XDG Base Directory Specification. Older
installations will still use any existing preset library location to maintain backwards compatibility.

- Mac OS X Audio Unit:Fixed minor memory leak in parameter names.

- Fixed CPU spikes which could occur when changing quickly cycling through presets.

- Fixed typo in display when detuning by a diatonic fourth or fifth.

- Fixed parameter jumps that could occur in certain hosts when modulating parameters using the XY pad.

- Added notches to mid-point of bi-directional modulation rotaries to make it easier to set the values to 0.
