Never heard of it, but for 99$ it 'd better be good.

You should definitely check it out. The demo is fully functional for 15 days.

    Windows (32 and 64bit) - VST / AAX
    or
    MAC (32 and 64bit) AudioUnit / VST3 / AAX

It's all about your personal taste, though. If you're looking for over-the-top, ultra hi-gain sounds
then this sim is not for you. I would say it captures the vintage Marshall, Fender, Vox, etc. sound
and feel unbelievably well. If you're looking for a sim the has dozens of outboard type FX,
then this sim is not for you.

Some time back, after reading so many rave reviews about it (both online and in print (SOS for example))
I gave it a try. Fifteen minutes later I bought it.

One of the very few amp sims that is:
    1) worth every penny of these 99$ (I'd happily pay more for what it offers quality-wise)
and 2) hasn't been k'd yet (that's why some ppl have never heard about that one, else it would be number 1 amp sim)

I am actually a high gain freak and I knew S-Gear kinda belonged to the clean-mid-gain range,
but the latest Wayfarer amp they added can definitely take you to an amazing high gain sound.
I can actually get pretty close to my Mesa Boogie Mark IV high gain heaven using S-Gear. Just throw
a TSE 808 with mild settings as a booster in front of your amp (as you would with a real guitar amp) and you're instantly in high gain.

As theDingus already said this isn't a "dozen-featured" amp sim, it awesomely simulates 5 amps with totally different characters,
has some really good sounding cabinets (although I'm pretty certain you can get some external cabs for a few bucks and extend your variety of sounds)
and some decent sounding FX. (p.s. now with a great tuner as well)

    All comments are very positive.
Hopefully I could try it more than 15 days, this try period is too short for a 100 dollars investment.
