Hi. I'm wondering how to make a sound that is very raw and powerful. I heard it on many italian hardstyle songs but I can't find those tracks. Recently I heard it in a porter robinson song called 100% In The Bitch. The sound began at 1:14.

Lately i´ve been wondering that all this sounds that seem to be "unachivable" they all come from pieces of harware like virus ti, moogs and nords. Please somebody correct me if i´m wrong, cause i´m reaching the point of selling my motorbike to get one of these

Phonocrazy, don't sell your motorbike. :)

I'm not 100% sure what sound you mean. Bass is pretty simple (overdriven sine, or lowpassed saw). The occasional "decending bass wurls" is some pitch-enveloped (or portamento'ed) saws (stacked and spread over a few octaves). The "alarm sound" is just some envelopes and LFOs controlling a few parameters (pitch, sync, waveshape, amplitude, etc) along with some SC compression to make it duck when other elements are dropped in. Compression and distortions (in that order) can help to make it more gritty and raw.
    My four cents.

ya dont need sidechain compression at all just some light compression and eq that's it. its all down to modulation in the vsti

plus i suggest u learn synthesis not just learning how to make and individual sound. if u understood synthesis you'd know how to make it. study vca lfo adsr filter the sounds of squarewaves sawtooths their shapes etc... most synths vsts or hardware generally do the same thing in these regards.

Sylenth1 or Massive or any other similar VST will be more than enough to achieve these sounds.
DigiTal_Zero is right, learn some synthesis.. it is fun! :)

    Check this one.

Try running your synths through a Guitar Amp, like Fruity's Blood Overdrive, though this often makes it sound kinda dark.
