You should act with some respect for those that allow you to use software that you could never afford. Right now they are practically the only cracking team you have left.

Without the incredible work of R2R my world would be even darker and not just mine I suppose.
Maybe it`s true that something needs to get lost before it`s esteemed fully... I don`t think so, but it seems to be the choice of the majority...

 

Part of community spirit is to accept that people might have different opinion. Even though I don't agree with loscolorados he has every right to express his/her opinion. Just be sure to do it politely next time, perhaps bring evidence to your statement. *yes*

Team R2R is responsible for many many excellent releases, which they did on their own - they certainly don't deserve the label 'dicks'. I have no clue what's happening most of the time behind the scenes, let's just say that I trust warez teams more than certain developers - as they don't have any reason to withhold information from us.

 

I highly respect your being such a gentleman Andrew and I get your point,
but when I hear certain things I can't stop some "fucks" getting outta my mouth.
One can have his/her opinion, but opinions has to be explained with valid reasons if you want others to respect you
and maybe discuss about it, just pissing on someone else's head is not exactly what I call expressing opinions.

 

Whilst you`re right that everyone has a right to an opinion Andrew, when someone comes and make such bold statements which are uninformed at best, just plain fooking STUPID at worst, you gotta expect retaliation.

Actually I have no idea what am I doing when for example I download waves and play around with their plugins for a while ?!?

I don`t know why R2R crack software ?!? ...is it a kind of rebellion, a kind of some Political movement, a kind of a Robin Hood game ???
Without that knowledge, I really don`t know what is all this about, so if someone can shed some light on the matter for the uninformed ones

Till then, I will see them as Santa Claus; will download their releases, admire their knowledge and enjoy my life...
All I can send them is my respect, a big thanks and the keys to my PC, but I guess they can get that without me

Even without the sites distributing scene releases,so the type of vibe you might encounter among users, I wouldn't have started making music at all.
This is the thing, I´ve always dreamt of making my own sound.
I feel really grateful for their work and generosity, hence how it has enabled many people that aren't in any position regarding the industry, audience etc to put ideas to work.

If it were a sort of sub-genre of music that specifically would have to be done by tools exclusively released by the scene, I would perfectly sign in.

you nailed it! It´s that vibe got me really going for "my own music", that the "scene" opened up to the public is what I seriously value, not releases in particular.
Within a few month after joining AS I came to know so many free production resources (that can match "industry standards") in addition to accessibility to pro stuff at the same time (AZ)...
All this mind power around I hesitate to express detailed, quite emotional person.
How I feel is that sharing & control doesn`t get along together, it just becomes distribution. Another fine facet, all these teams are not giving up on trying and offering
each and everybody to feel more connected, though by a measurement of health they probably shouldn`t. So for "leechers" ... addiction can`t be treated, only by the addict self.
How much tools and instruments can be of use? All that matters for me is the many good people around here, I often catch myself wishing ... if I could know them face to face.

This sub-genre thing would be great, something like thiefcloud.com? or GrandTheftAudio.org? (just for better promotion, ofc)
