    Hi everybody!

I don't know if it's only me, but recently I installed Drum Leveler and it worked fine... until it suddenly didn't 3 days ago. I've tried to uninstall it but a message appears that says:

    "Runtime error (at -1:0)

    Cannot Import
    dll:C:\ProgramData\SoundRadix\Drum Leveler\windows_authorize.dll"

I've uninstalled it with Revo Uninstaller Pro, but it didn't worked. So, I decided to re-install it. But when I use the keygen, another message appears:

What is happening? Or what the heck have I done? That's a real pain in the neck.

    Kind regards!

Hey javi nice to see you on the bright side. Guys if you can help javi I'd really appreciate that. Thanks for your time.

Concerning Revo: Keep in mind that uninstalling using Revo is different than tracing installations which you can also do. When you trace installations Revo keeps track of changes in real time, writes them to a file and that file can be used later to remove everything. Uninstalling with Revo is after the fact, it's looking through things that have already been added to the system and then removing them. This doesn't always (almost never) get everything. If I were you I would open my registry and search for SoundRadix and review the matches. One of them will have to do with a license activation. That one needs to be removed. However be careful because the registry is a dangerous place if you don't know what you're doing. Make sure you have restore points in your computer just in case.

All what cat says is true. Revo have to watch to the installation process to be really effective at uninstalling.
About the registry manip, you can/'d better do a registry backup from regedit.

was there any message 3 days ago when it stopped working before you uninstalled it? how long had it been working before it stopped? did you install anything just before it stopped?

to try and get it working again will require some patience

uninstall it again, check in program folders (x86 and 64bit) and delete any folders there

check in C:\ProgramData and remove any trace in there

check C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local(and also LocalLow and Roaming)

    also check My Documents folder

finally open regedit search "soundradix" and delete any keys found

ProgramData and AppData are hidden folders and you will need to "show hidden folder and files" in control panel\system and security\appearance and personalization\folder options

as a matter of course if you are using non legit vstis/DAWS, ensure your DAW is blocked from accessing the internet, a lot of vsts/DAWS will ring home when you open them

you could also try starting revo before installing and checking the vsti install log of where everything is going/changing

Nope, it didn't appear any message before. It happened suddenly, when I tried the VST3 version of it in Reaper 5.0 beta. It said that the trial period had expired, and then I tried the VST2 one, but it freezes Reaper and I have to close it.

I'll try the steps you've written, and I'll keep you up to date of any news of it.

    Thank you all, seriously! :D

    Hello again!

I've tried the steps and it still doesn't work. In fact, I've tried the new version uploaded on AudioZ and it doesn't work neither. I don't know what to do at this point :dunno: . That's a pain in the neck :snuffy: .

It has to be some remnants left over from the previous installation that is blocking the installer from being able to continue. Did you search for SoundRadix in the Windows registry?

Trojans don't destroy hardware and it's straight from R2R a trustworthy P2P group.

Hey, there's a folder you can delete that might fix it.
in my case it was the autoalign that suddenly stopped working and showed the message trial over.
So, after a long trial and error deletes, deleting this one that had a burned license.bin file there fixed it for me.
    C:\user\user\appdata\local\VirtualStore\autoalign
    now it's up and running.
maybe that can be of some help to you.

(ps - i also deleted all info on soundradix with regedit and all that was in c:\programdata but in the end nothing worked, except for deleting this one folder)
    hope it works.
    cheers!

Yeah SoundRadix uses hidden folders as part of their cp.

I have a similar problem, except isntaller asks me for authorize with email and password. I've cleaned all soundradix items off the system drive and registry and used the keygen generator before running installer.
