so i was wondering whats a good back up software for mac?? dont say time machine either cause thats what i was using until i had to restore and alot of my libaries werent backed up. everyhting was selected and marked to be saved but, once i went in and restored my mac. my maschine library was missing, toontrack was missing and addictive drums was missing! not the program it self but the sound libraries. pain in the ass!!

Your best off having spare hard drive usb.Don't matter if you have PC or mac,Thats what I do anyway,Clone yer mac drive or just store your library's and software,then if something does go wrong you've got piece of mind.

thanks guys!!! ive heard of superduper, but wasnt sure if it was anygood.@fabriciom, my time machine back up had a lot of missing stuff!! my toontrack library was missing, maschine, and alot of other things! didnt do a full back up, even with everything selected.

Saved my ass numerous times. Awesome product.

I now have 1 drive with 2 partitions. Weekly clone to partition 1 and daily backup to a disk images for other stuuf on partition 2.

Great for testing products. I can boot to my clone OS. Install the software. Evaluate.
If good then install on the main OS. If not, boot as normal and no harm done.
