    I vote for "Sexmas". A week of just sex, orgies, and generally carousing, celebrating life. Happily entering a New Year afterwards. Yay! :rofl:

    There is nothing wrong. Xmas is a colloquialism and an abbreviation (X= initial chi of Greek Khristos). Its use is attested by the Oxford Dictionary since decades at least. :wink:

    "Merry Xmas", with the "X" replacing "Christ" (see Xmas) is sometimes used in writing, but very rarely in speech. This is in line with the traditional use of the Greek letter chi (uppercase Χ, lowercase χ), the initial letter of the word Χριστός (Christ), to refer to Christ.

    Technically the winter solstice finished today, as there is a three day stand still. As the sun appears to rise in the same place for three days.

    This is where this quote was nicked from , he died on the cross three days later he rises,

    And the Pagan new year is the first of April.
