u not hope for maybe a little too much?

Personally my one wish would be that some people would show a little more appreciation for the great stuff that is already about & display a little more respect & gratitude towards the teams & many individuals that work for hours on end to keep this site up & overflowing with greatness!

Remember Xmas is all about giving *yes*

P.s They've already been released so your wish ha been granted

No. Heavyocity DM-307 and Spitfire eDNA01 Earth are out long time ago. Now it's really time for a release...

No. LADD will be out on Dec 20th.

Anyway if you are against warez, what are you doing here? LOL.

    Please not this boring stuff.

As if there weren't enough 'must have' sample libraries.

User 137 didn't say anything about being against warez :wow: have another read *yes*

with your christmas money you can purchase one or even all of them and then you can share them, now that would be very nice, giving back to the community

Thing is you come off as entitled and not humble or grateful at all. Personally, after reading this, I'd set up my list of what not to release for the next two years!!

(Also, there's a request section which would be way more effective than this... And, maybe, not saying anything at all)

@wicked maybe you should have used as a title "Christmas Wish List" and then let everyone else decide whether you wanted to pay for it or be able to test it from other sources, the discussion would have probably gone off in a better direction :mates:

Wicked I'm not against warez at all *no* Quite the opposite in fact.

What I am against is the blatant lack of gratitude that some people show (not suggesting u) when it comes to what is already here.

People all to often in just my opinion download something, that someone has worked damn hard on & probably in some cases paid for & then just toss it to one side & say right what's next.

What can I get my hands on next & toss away!

Also some users show a blatant lack of respect for the staff who work all day long to maintain this site & then just put in a huge list of ridiculous requests some of which are impossible & plain stupid. Like Gramofon mentioned It just comes off as sounding a little ungrateful.

Again i'm not suggesting u are & mean no disrespect :mates:

Like I have said before, every day here is a bit like xmas.

Thousands of pounds worth of software made available through sweat & cash and then people say it's xmas I would like this, this & this! It's just like a little bit of gimme more syndrome & it makes me want to vommit lol!

I'm not saying u are like this but it really is my honest opinion that we should show gratitude every day of the year for what we are 'gifted' & not just think it's Xmas again!

The 'expectation syndrome' takes a little bit of the magic out of what should imo be a family orientated (if u are lucky enough to have family around etc as some aren't) happy time without the expectation of expensive gifts.

I do not mean any personal reference to u & it is simply my little opinion.

    Also the fact that

from the company & the fact it is in your 'Wish List' only serves to exemplify the point :dunno:

Also for your information Spitfire individually watermark their NKI's so to state a 'release is long overdue' is a little shortshighted & Again u are hoping for a release that may not even be released by Xmas & then expecting someone to buy it, supply it, & team to worry about watermarks & protection issues & then double check & upload it in time for Xmas? That's maybe imo a very big ask?

I hope your wishes are fulfilled & u have a great holiday season

    1. I also contributed not one of my payed stuff, so I don't care about those stupid "respect the hard work, blabla.." whining, because I'm one of those who gave a lot to the audio warez community!
    2. It's not a request, you morons, it's more like a survey, opinion poll. Maybe someone will read and take it into consideration to buy and release that. Maybe I will be one of that. Yes, maybe I will buy also those 3 stuff on my list. Boring stuff? Who cares, it's my list, let me know your list, maybe that will boring for me, too.
    3. Who cares if Spitfire libraries were watermarked? It was not a question, and anyway there are almost all Spitfire libraries are released.

So just write your list, or shut up and stop whining.

time to test all software, compare and delete the ones that are not crucial... :dunno:
We already have so much... how many people tested all presets, loops or samples? :wow:

      :mates:

Just because you provided some software doesn't mean that you shouldn't show consideration for the teams. Perhaps the teams will look at the list and consider buying those things, then again maybe it will just make them feel bad that they can't release these since they're ridiculously expensive and also involve watermarks so 2 copies of each would be needed. Also insulting members is breaking the first of our few rules, find a way to have a discussion without doing that especially in a Christmas thread.

This holiday season I hope I can come up with better ways to show the teams and people that work hard all year round how much their work has meant to me. I really don't have any wish lists since practically anything I want is already out there. I'll be happy with whatever gifts I get because I'm sure that they will offer me an opportunity that I didn't have before. It's really weird when you think about it: teams (and incredibly thoughtful forum members  ) take time and money out to get gifts for us as if we are owed them. To me that is extraordinary in itself, imagine that. People that help me all year long are thinking about gifts for me, as if I haven't been getting them for 363 other days.

christmas money + shares would be better :mates:

there are lots and lots of different people/teams working behind the scene(s), even mods don't have all info available to them :)wink:), you need to be humble, be patient and be very grateful when things do become available to you :mates:

You seem to be a nice guy.

Anyway, if you are an amateur/hobbyist/collector (which I strongly suppose), you just don't need that stuff, try starting with some Kontakt factory patches instead and work your way up.

If you are a pro musician - then you could and should just buy the stuff you make your money with. *yes*

Ok wicked here goes! However as u pointed out we are morons so probably wrong & get mixed up a lot!

"Please Santa let wicked buy 2 copies of every Spitfire library in the world!

According to my very rough calculations only around 30% (hardly constitutes almost all?) of their libraries available so in the spirit of xmas it would be great of him to kindly donate 2 copies of the remaining 70% so we can enjoy them all!

You will know however as u & the genius elves know everything including the fact that I am a moron :mates:

Wouldn't that be a joy to behold!

Actually Santa since wicked doesn't care about watermarks he would only need to supply one copy & that would probably only cost him like 8 grand!

That's not a little bit much to ask one person or am I being a bit selfish?

I have been very good this year surely so I deserve it

Bollocks forgot I don't have Kontakt & I doubt u can, I seriously doubt u can fit Frank Riccotti's Marimba down the chimney, so f**k that shitty list off!

    Will start another

I have one reasonable wish for a release that does not require somebody paying money or buying any products. It's an update for already existing buggy library, its usage is significantly deteriorated because of these bugs and script problems.
Only what is needed is legit owner of this library, who received this free update.

Its release would definitely benefit many users working with symphonic strings. Sadly, due to strict watermarking (waterboarding) policies, it's quite unlikely this update will see the light of the day, so the only 'way' to get it is invest approx. 1200 British pounds. :(
I've purchased one similar product from them, but still see this older one to be superior in its features.
As Ann Arroway put it, "it'll continue to be my wish."

Which library exact library is it? How big is the update & how big is the original script?

OK, I'll tell it out loud, even though I didn't want to (based on the clues from the post, some might have gotten it already).
    It's Sable Strings.
Currently available to 'us' only in version 1.1 .
Most annoying bug is currently missing instrument groups for Bowed articulation for Violas, 1st Violins, Cellos and Basses. Even though the UI shows the Bowed legato symbol, no samples are triggered or even loaded. That means product claiming to have three legato types actually has only two, slurred and glissandi.
As easy as it was in Mural, to fix attack bug in Celli (see my fix at AZ), it's not quite possible here.
In early videos, Spitfire claimed an update due September 2014 in which additional content is available - Legato Con Sordino, though so far I haven't seen that one on their YT channel.
In most recent update, they divided their core patch into three parts, not quite smart move but OK. By now, they must have fixed the legato articulation bug.

Size: few hundred MBs max, just NKI/NKM

What makes this wish hard to accomplish is the new verification system. Existing user, who used fake credentials and purchased and provided the public with Sable 1.1 is no longer able to DL the update. There is a way that would require the use of another account with fake credentials to DL the update and release it as is (so far not possible to remove the watermark). Another solution is strictly private release.

Yes, there are few more libs from SF that would have warm welcome here, but one can always organise a group buy to fulfill their dreams, if luck permits.
However most releasers and suppliers decline cooperation when it comes to groupbuying SF stuff thanks to their privacy invading methods of identification :(
