Acustica Introducing Pre-Sale: GREEN EQ : The Perfect Equalizer

Acustica has been trying to work on the perfect equalizer for many years. That's why we release a new one
every month. Our products are designed to provide the highest possible quality, without compromise. Never trust
rushed judgments: some products cause transients to be damaged and have unmusical phase responses. If at first
listen they may sound usable and dangerously similar, in the long run your music will lose transparency and
    become terribly blurry and confusing.

This is a new problem that is rarely emphasized, but which can make a huge difference to the communication
capacity of your emotional message. If the hardware musicality is what you are looking for and you feel this
is one thing that has not been perfectly reproduced in the software world yet, now’s the time for you to
reap the fruit of our looms and our experience.

This one really could be great. I can't wait to test it! :dancing:

"If the hardware musicality is what you are looking for and you feel this is one thing that has not been perfectly reproduced in the software world yet, now’s the time for you to reap the fruit of our looms and our experience." Well, DMG EQuality in analog mode is rather perfect, so is VoS SlickEQ. However, they are pretty spot on with their claim as there are so many software EQs that lack either of the things they mentioned, like analog phase response, analog treatment of the transients, analog curves. Most of the Waves EQs fail all of these, that's why they don't use so much CPU and are nothing but a shiny GUI slapped on the shit DSP code. :bleh: With IK's EQs that actually varies and their new EQs [API and Neve] behave much better than the old ones, albeit - they are not perfect, not even their "venerable" mastering EQ, which is their best EQ IMO.

Has anyone tried the new Slate VMR. The Neve Eq is especially pleasing to the ear. Musical, not harsh

    @ Acustica Audio,

This is a really commendable gait... *yes* Congratulations !

"That's why we release a new one every month."

Could this signify that, in some sense, some of your previous ('Monthly') 'EQ Releases' are/were not perfect !?! :dunno:

    *yes*

    !?!... :dunno:
Don't really understand the last part of that sentence... Do you want to make us believe that if we 'Master', 'Mix',... , one of our Projects with, say, a less 'performant' EQ Model, and that we reload it a few time later to listen it again (here the correspondence with your "in the long run"), all these (recorded, processed,... then saved) 'Digital Data' may to lose 'transparency', become 'blurry' and 'confusing'...

Please, are you trying to kidding us !?! :dunno:

No doubt that for 'Marketing' purposes, you're in the first place... but not sure that for 'Audio Technical Issues' you're so wise !

Not offenses at all, because most of your Products (either 'EQs', 'Compressors', 'Preamps',... ) are, in some way, 'Top of the Line' , I use and tried several ones.

But Please !... don't be so 'drastic' when asserting : here's the 'Perfect Equalizer' !!!, for a simple reason :
What exactly means the 'Perfect' Audio Gear (either 'EQ', or any other Processor).
The real answer, but it's my own opinion !, could be : for which exact usage, and over all, that it greatly depends of who use it, don't you think ?

P.S. At other Users : It's not my habit to grumble (at least within this Forum ! *no* ), and mainly because 'English' Language is not my 'Mother Tongue', but I wanted to comment a few this 'Acustica Audio' statement...
Nothing more... and Sorry for that !

    A final saying :
Input first a few 'Musicality' if you hope to have a little way out !

Well, Studio 555, the proper DSP code is here since years now; we're just waiting for someone other than DMG to use it and possibly optimise it even more. I'm at least glad that these guys don't work 90% of the time to make the GUI look hardware and 3D like, but the code is shitty [like Waves or Nomad Factory and plethora of others]. Their philosophy seems to be in reverse, jut the way I like it - functional GUI and quality code. ;P I'm actually surprised that they went for a 3D hardware look this time around... but it may be because they thought this one to be a significant step in quality of sound, so they wanted to make both perfect - the GUI and the code? I might be mistaken, of course... maybe they just joined the other GUI snake oil traders. :(

Well, we'll see. I can't wait to test it!

For English not being your mother tongue I think you're doing great. Don't think about it. The purpose of language is communication, to convey your thoughts as precisely as you can, not proper grammar or anything like that, and I think everybody understood perfectly well what you meant, and that's the whole point of language!

    Cheers!

    I made a "little" mistake.

I thought this was *Acon's* new EQ plugin for some reason! So what I said about the code and GUIs goes for Acon plugins, not Acustica. I have just realised that while reading about this on KVR forum.

I love Acon plugins, and I commented thinking about their excellent plugins, but Acustica... not interested. I'm a convolution agnostic.

    Cheers!
