you can get the same results just by moving the audio/midi clip... i don't like this feature. i like a linear workflow as it is. maybe you can just move to Ableton or Bitshit and then you will have your feature in no time.

man, i don't wanna be rude. i produce electronic music and i tried it. is a cool features IN ableton. if you add this features will be ruin Studio one. Everyone loves S1, because it's easy, fast and intuitive. this features isn't intuitive. don't be lazy just move the clip. you can also create a macro and then will have your feature...

Cool! Thanks for getting the word out! I guess I should have crossposted this here in addition to the Cubase section (?)

They hired Santa (I'm sure it's him). What else could you ask for?

Agreed. This guy doesn't have a clue. Bitwig is a 2014 DAW, and he calls it shit. It has more innovation than all of the other DAWs put together.

    DAW war coming?

Once you discover the magic of the session view, you won't ever want to go back to a "standard arrangement left to right" DAW - at least in my case. But I'm not a pro (yet). :bleh:

So I couldn't care less about Cubase, with or without dongle.

For me Cubase (and Studio One/Logic etc.) seem like tools for sound engineers, arrangers, composers, producers, while Live/Bitwig is dedicated to musicians with a strong preference for performing/improvising/experimenting.

Both worlds have it's own advantages, why not co-existing in peace?

I agree with the guy with the name I am not going to decipher to reference here. I think that both can be used together. I really wish that Cubase would introduce something like the Session view, then it would be perfect. However nothing stopping someone from experimenting in something like Bitwig, FL Studio or Live and then mixing in Cubase. Best of both worlds.
