about to buy a New Mac (M5 pro 24 gb 1tb) - for playing Ableton Live from session view with my APC controller

Query -

Since Im new to Mac - is it Risky to run warez Ableton on Mac for Live performance since its warez ? Meaning can it stop mid performance just cuz it might not be stable ?

For Live performance, I will just be using : Ableton warez + its stock plugins + Serum & Diva (purchased versions)

Please guide, Mac is already expensive I won't have funds...

I have PC with Ableton 12 R2R + million other plugins

I want to buy Macbook Pro because I'm moving to performing Live - as much as I love windows - but for laptops I have concluded Macbooks are just Too Reliable for performing, integration etc

The problem is that of the hundreds of instruments it contains, I'm only interested in four or five.

Whenever I get hold of a new library without a NICNT file, I create one using ‘KLU 2.4.0’, and then add the library using ‘Add Library for Mac OS v6’. I am running Monterey on an M1 Max Macbook Pro.

I have installed Arturia V Collection X v27.08.2024 macOS and ran all the patches, the patches run and give me no errors, however the AU/VST and standalone versions of the plugins show up in demo mode.

I tried patching using sudo sh, and sudo chmod -R 777.

I made sure xcode-select is installed, and gatekeeper is disabled using sudo spctl --master-disable.
