Any suggestion? I'd like to try Ableton and I want to do so by using V11. Thanks!

Edit: Sorry for not mentioning it before, I'm on Win10.

Somewhere around 11.2 I believe. Many started complaining about CPU usage after 11.3. Waiting for 11.3.25 alpha release, which appears to have a good few fixes. Also may depend on what system/OS you are on.

Live 11.1.5 was the last best version I used. Very stable, no bugs.
Later I updated to 11.3.10 and there was so many bugs, piano roll, midi in tracks. New added plugins loaded so so long.
    What a nightmare!

I had good luck on Windows i9 build with 11.3.4. No CPU issues or other weirdness.

i second this ever since push was included in live 11's later versions, it got so buggy and slow .Live 12 works twice as fast on my same laptop.

Live 11 was generally nothing but trouble here on Mac. I can reproduce some crashes( I posted one here somewhere), but others are just weird. Went back to 10.1.4 and so far no sudden crashes. That's a keeper. Live 12 on PC runs surprisingly good for a beta.

After 11.2. Ableton has been a disaster for me. 12 is still running slow/freezing and plugins scan takes 30+ mins just like 11.3 on my end.
I envy the smoothness people are getting and I dont have. Been thinking of just switching to Bitwig and dealing with its meh midi.

Been on 11.0.11 for so long and have no noticeable issues. The odd crash very occasionally, but usually due to a weird plugin.

been using 12.0.2 since it came out, scan is okay for 500 plugins (thank you Waves, gazillion more plugins now due to waves shell).
Today minimum is a SSD, the scanning is so much faster than on a HDD.

Also there are certain plugins known to be crashing Ableton.

the last Live 11 version released for worked well for me. i think it was 11.3.21 or something.
