This is useless. And it's not will give anybody sound of the real thing.
If you want to make something good - sample SSL EQ. Preamp's IR are bullsнит.

 

have you tried it? listened the demos, your loss through ignorance is no loss to me.. if you educate yourself you will see the profiles are not static IR ;-) enjoy your weekend. Also if you had bothered to check out the product you'd also clearly see we sampled the SSL EQ, line, compression, master bus and G bus compressor on both E and G console too.

As far as I know the capturing technology is not using IRs, at least not static ones.

 

I bought the SSL pack a bit over a week ago. It's definitely the opposite of useless, and I actually find that the mic preamp and line amp were my favourite to use. I love the weight and punch you get, plus the tracks just feel more alive. You won't get anything like this in a VST plugin

What's the sample rate? The PTFR stuff is sampled at 44 or 48 (I don't recall at the moment). I run at 96.

 

You never used Acustica Audio products
I used profiling since day one (even more obscure ones).

 

Hmm... I can't say anything about the sound. There are no demos and I'm reluctant to invest money in the profiles.
At some point I picked up two free profiles that I wanted to test when my schedule allowed. Only to find out that the download link has expired and I have to pay for a new link (or the profile is no longer available).
If you are working with such a strange concept, then please at least communicate transparently that the purchase is only a temporary access link. In case of a software product for which I have to create a user profile and for which a "My downloads" page is provided, I automatically assume that my purchased products will also be available for download there later.

Hi, the free packs are still there there to download for free, always have been, although there's a weird 72hr download timer on all packs, paid or free for some reason in the webshop that I need to find out how to turn off.. so that may well have been your issue - just re-add to cart and redownload for and trial for free. if you need any help just shout, I'm all ears.

 

I don't see any way to download without paying for the download. Hence my reluctance to pay even a single cent for a profile.

Spoiler: so where do i download my profiles then?

 

This makes the error look to me like these are "inventory" items, so each one that sells deducts a QTY being sold from the QTY on-hand.

Digital products should not be setup to be an inventoried item. "On Hand" should be something like 999,999 if you cannot get a system to stop deducting the sales of it from Current On Hand quantity. Or it should be a non-stock item where a sale does not deduct a quantity or want to create a negative on hand qty. So it is showing you that it cannot be added, because on-hand QTY is 0.

 

you are trying to redownload old packs that are no longer available, they are replaced with the up to date profiles. - i hope that helps explain, those old packs are switched off in the webshop the new links are below:

no, hes trying to download the old free packs, they were updated to the new packs as per my response above.

 

48 on the newer stuff (NAM) oversampling to 96k - genome does this automatically I believe, try the free pack and see how it sounds.

 

I love Acustica Audio. I actually have paid for almost 30 AA plugins

 

So tell me how you said this :

I get this kind of quality for 15 years.

 

I'm speaking to the AnalogXai SSL preamp (and line amp) profiles, the bottom end is superb. It's great for drums / bass drum.
While I can get great punch from AA preamps, I can't get that bottom end. It's big, it's loud, it's open and it's beautiful.
I'm not advocating one product is better than the other, but if you can have both...why not have both?

 

That's not really the point. Neither of the two profiles that are in the order list of my profile that I wanted to access are in the free packs your links lead to.

1. the profile "AnalogXAi Analog Designs HG2 into the Teletronix LA2A Profile" is still available for purchase. This profile is listed in my order list. However, a new download requires me to pay £5.99.
2. the profile "Chandler LTD2 Profile for BYOD" is no longer available at all. And "AnalogXAi 3 X Chandler LTD2 Compressor / Limter Profiles for BYOD" requires a payment of £14.00.

The point is, I have no way of accessing the profiles I have ordered. IMHO this is a no-go. So if the company policy is: "Buy, download immediately, then archive on your own responsibility", this should be communicated transparently to the user with a warning message BEFORE the purchase, right?
