    For Audio
Similarity https://www.similarityapp.com/is a freeware program that searches for duplicate music files. One of the best paid software for that purpose is EF Duplicate MP3 Finder https://www.efsoftware.com/d3/e.htm
    For pictures
There is free Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder https://www.duplicate-finder.com/photo.html. There is also Duplicate Photo Cleaner, but it's not free, along with some other paid programs.

I'm using the VersInfoEx Shell Extension since years.
It shows those infos exactly like on Windows 7 and it still runs perfectly on Windows 11.

I know there is a version option in Beyond Compare, but I never used, have a try.
Yes, there is (free) Find Image OK or 3delite Duplicate Picture Finder (pictures) and 3delite Duplicate MP4 Video & Audio Finder.
BTW, @tzzsmk , could you please remove that black box in avatar? I can't concentrate.

Nice, that is on my "TO-TRY" programs list.

Thank you also @pratyahara and @r4e (VIP guru member :beg:), those look neat utils too. The problem is finding one tool that can use that data in batches/folders.

There's (or was) a cmd tool called "FileVer" which was available at microsoft for download (but somehow it's not anymore).

    With the command:
    filever.exe Test.dll >Test.txt
it was possible to export the file version info into txt files.

I used this in an updater tool (which I wrote in batch) to get the most recent Image-Line plugin updates,
extract the vst dll's from the installers with 7z's command line tool and export their version info into txt files.

That worked pretty flawlessly. Can upload that tool if anyone is interested.

can search for files in MFT on any NTFS or FAT partition (FAT 12, 16, 32), including hard drives (internal and external), floppy drives, flash cards, SmartMedia (SM) , SONY memory cards, IBM microdrives, multimedia cards (MMC), secure digital cards (SD), Zip disks, etc. The search criteria can be seen on the screen, plus you can search with an editable script, copy files or their hash values to the clipboard, open them from the list and much more through the context menu by right-clicking on the file in the list of results.
